Founded by Friedrich Goldscheider Tb.1845 - m. 1987); Employed or collaborated with many craftsmen and modellers, incl. Josef Lorenzl, Stefan Dakon, Ida Melsinger, Michael Powolny, Vally Wieselthler and many others; Many family members and partners, including the founder, left Austria in the late 1930s and opened other factories in the US and UK; He returned to Austria in 1950 but was unable to restart operations and sold the incense to CASTERNS - UFFRECHT, who continued to use the founder's name as GOLDSCHEIDER KERAMIK until 1963: the founder's grandson, Peter Goldschelder, opened another studio in Stoob in 1987 but closed in 1994
