Notes/Literature: An identical table was in the library of Jayne & Charles B. Wrightsman's Palm Beach house, a well-documented Jansen commission, illustrated in J.A. Abbott, Jansen, New York 2006, p. 168. Related tables by Maison Jansen for another well-documented commission was sold at Christie's, A View over Eaton Square sale, 10 November 2005, lot 346, for 20,400 and The Collection of a Lady, Christie's King Street, 10 December 2009, lot 546 for £10,000.
