Original pastel drawing of piece done by Oliver Eldridge in about 1949 with a caption that reads “Steuben Blue Aurene Circa 1918.”

From the collection of “Calcite Charlie” Charles Potter. The most glamorous and successful of the salesmen was Charles Potter, who came to the Steuben Glass Works in about 1906 or 1907 and continued to be Carder’s ace representative until about 1932.
