Steuben Plum Jade Bowl
DESCRIPTION: Steuben plum jade shouldered bowl cut in Chang pattern. Three layers--purple over calcite over purple. The purple color was produced by manganese oxide.(Fig. 8, Fieldstone Porch). Deepest plum acid cut back with formalized foliage, flowers and Chinese symbols against a ground cut with scroll work.
