Steuben Sterling Silver Eagle Base Centerpiece
Steuben sterling silver sculptural centerpiece base, designed by David Dowler and introduced in the mid-1970s. The square plinth base is mounted at each corner with a cast and hand-chased eagle figurine in a wings-spread position, designed to support a crystal bowl. The vertical sides feature a brushed finish, while the top surface is polished to a mirror shine. The vertical edge is marked with an impressed sterling stamp above a script Steuben signature.
