Steve Tobin b.1957 Glass & Steel Cocoon Sculpture

Steve Tobin (American, born 1957), modern abstract sculpture from the artists Cocoon series, constructed with an elongated white blown-glass form featuring a raised spiral wrap and green interior, enclosed by tall textured blackened steel rods rising from an organically modeled circular base. The contrasting glass and steel elements create a slender architectural composition. No apparent signature.

Dimensions: 33 X 10 X 8 in.

Condition: Good overall condition with typical surface wear consistent with prior display. The steel elements exhibit natural variation to the darkened textured finish.
