Stone Age Danish Antler Hafted Axehead
Early Neolithic, 8000-6000 BP. A knapped axe with very light polish to convex cutting edge only, of rectangular-section with parallel edges and a square butt, in a mottled grey flint; with a socket from a shaped and hollowed-out section of deer antler, this for mounting in a wooden haft.
