A group of two part polished flint axes each with convex cutting edges tapering to a rounded (this with evidence of use as a 'strike-a-light) and a squared butt; both in a highly variegated grey-black flint. 637 grams total, 11-12.9cm (4 1/4 - 5"). From the family collection of a South East London collector; formerly acquired in the late 1950s. [2, No Reserve]
