Beautiful and very rare riveted wrought iron trunk, with its 5-point lock system. Wrought iron carrying handle and false keyhole on the front to discourage the theft of the contents. Floral polychrome decoration. Openwork metal plaque and supporting stand. With its key. Good condition given its age (over 400 years old) . Lock in working condition. Lid slightly misaligned. Small old restoration and small trace of recent paint at the back of the trunk, which does not detract from the trunk’s appearance (see photos) . Germany, 17th century.
