The expressive language of Studio Job is powerful and iconic. In the tin 'basket' designed by Studio Job in 2007 for Thomas Eyck this contemporary archaic script is in perfect harmony with the traditional technique of tin casting. The objects are produced in the oldest tin factory of the Netherlands. A tin block is melted in the factory and cast in metal moulds by hand. The tin, which comes from Indonesia, is a durable material and was used in the Middle Ages for the manufacturing of dinnerware. The greyish-coloured material doesn't rust and is suitable for daily use. Limited edition of 150 pieces. This is number 138/150 and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
