This object is a first generation Space Frame dating from 2016. Is has been used for exhibition purposes only. The condition is good. The object is made of a plywood skeleton covered with polyester fabric. The supporting frame is made from black coated steel. The lights source are 4 led-tubes, the color of the light is 4000K. The light is not dimmable. The object is handmade in the Netherlands. Concept: The abstract volumes of the Space Frames are based on archetypical architectural elements such as arcs, columns, trusses and plates. The Space Frames are made from lightweight wooden structures enclosed by a textile cover: an experimental research into physical and visual lightness, balance and stability. The series of objects can be positioned freely, in unpredictable and thought-provoking compositions. The arrangements of the separate objects create an interaction with the surrounding space, making the negative and positive space equally important.
