Studio Todini - Sculpture, Horse head - Marble - Second half 20th century

Horse’s head in classic style carved on Carrara marble. It is placed on a turned base of fine Rosso Levanto red marble, (a marble from Liguria that has become very rare) , from which it can be separated. The original model, due to its weight and small size, is well suited to any furnishing style, both classic and modern. It is part of a series of works that recreate sculptures with a “museum find” look of the Todini workshop, a workshop designated in 2011 by the Lazio region as “of high aesthetic and cultural value”, with the use of the stamp of origin and quality. In 2015, the “Osservatorio Mestieri d'Arte” of Florence (OMA) included them in the list of excellence of Italian crafts. It is 38 cm high including the base x 28 x 11. Weight of 12 kg.
