Studio Todini - Sculpture, Male torso - 73 cm - Marble - Late 20th century
Finely sculpted male torso on a good block of Carrara marble for sculpture, original model of Todini workshop. Resting by means of irons on a block of a very precious colored marble called the ‘Emperador’ and coming from Spain. The torso can be separated from the base. This sculpture is part of an array of museum-find looking works, created at Todini’s laboratory, which the Lazio Region designated in 2011 as a workshop “of high aesthetic and cultural value”, granting the use of the origin and quality hallmark. In 2015, the Osservatorio dei Mestieri d’Arte in Florence (OMA) included these works in the excellence list of Italian arts and crafts. Overall height including the base: 73 cm x 33 x 17 cm, weight: 33 kg It will be shipped via insured courier in a wooden crate.
