Stunning BG-48 Jefferson Airplane Poster

Wes Wilson was certainly at the top of his game when he designed this beautiful Jefferson Airplane poster! The central image melts into the lettering in an artistic rendition of the psychedelic experience. Joining Jefferson Airplane on the bill were Fillmore regulars Quicksilver Messenger Service and Dino Valenti. Valenti was well known at the time for writing the song, Get Together. He faded into obscurity, and toward the end of the sixties he spent numerous stints in jail for drug busts. The BG-48 poster comes in several different color combinations. This is the most commonly seen version, designated as BG-48-OP-3 in Eric King’s guide. What isn’t common is the lofty grade CGC assigned to this gem!
