Stunning Edwardian Inlaid Rosewood Etagere Cabinet
Late 19th to early 20th Century, attributed to Edwards & Roberts, profuse fruitwood and kingwood marquetry inlaid decoration to include foliate scroll, winged maidens, fairies, birds, dolphins, and winged horses; also includes scrimshaw bone panels. Swan neck foliate scroll crest over fretwork beveled glass door, open shelf either side, over dual sliding beveled glass doors. Base with single door over single door over open shelf; open shelves over serpentine doors either side. Unique to this cabinet are four rotating glass front cylinder doors, on six diminutive carved feet. Overall 98.75" h. x 60" x 15.5". Condition: Missing center top finial, other wear consistent with age and use.
