A stunning Near Eastern bronze pin, the terminal in the form of a canine, c. 1000 - 650 BC, the animal is wonderfully styled with detailed body, curled tail short ears and large eyes; is tilts its head slightly as it chews an object held by the front paws. Extremely well-preserved and a masterwork of the bronze artist! L: 6 3/8 in (15.8 cm). Ex London private estate.
