DESCRIPTION

This special bronze vase is a limited edition 29/30 created by 池田満寿夫 Masuo Ikeda. Its title is "ジンギス汗 Genghis Khan. " As he is often referred to as an author of Eros, he has many sensual works, and this piece is one of them.

This is a collectable one.

池田満寿夫 Masuo Ikeda was a versatile artist with a wide range of talents, including printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, writing, and filmmaking. He received numerous awards both in Japan and internationally. In 1965, he became the first Japanese artist to have a solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. As a printmaker, he won the International Grand Prize at the Venice Biennale in 1966. In 1977, he wrote a novel and received Japan's highest literary award, the Akutagawa Prize.
