The painting shows a particular Holy Family, it is described with the Madonna looking, with a gaze that transpires pride, directly the observer, the blessing Child, Joseph who is painted, as tradition dictates, as an elderly person and the Madonna who holds a fruit basket. The canvas, evidently larger, has been relocated to a new frame. Evocative craquelure as evidence of past centuries. Under the Wood light there are no important retouches.
