Ancient Near East, Sumer, ca. 3rd to 2nd millennium BCE. An attractive necklace of a wearable form comprised of dozens of petite stone beads in hues of black, white, and grey hues. The white beads are interspersed with the darker beads to create an engaging chromatic scheme. Strung in modern times and capped with a silver-plated loop and lobster clasp combo, this is a fabulous necklace that is sure to accentuate any outfit! Condition Report: Stone beads are ancient, and stringing and silver-plated components are modern. Strung in modern times and wearable as shown. Minor nicks to some stone beads, otherwise intact and very good. Smooth patina throughout.
