Superb 18thC Chinese wood Buddha. Finely modeled with a greatly expressive face. In remarkable condition, with no damage, repair, or loss. There are expectable minor surface cracks in the painted/lacquered surface (as seen in photos) from contracting and expanding over 200+ years and some minor chips as seen in photos. 6" tall. Wonderful face, delicate hands. and a feeling of joy. Look closely at the detail- nicest of this type I've seen in a very long time.
