Beautifully patinated bronze Art Deco sculpture designed by the French sculptor Georges Guiraud Coste (act. 1930) .

Depicted is a seated young naked woman who looks intently at the viewer. Next to her a dog lies in total surrender, her hand rests on the dog's warm fur. His head lifted slightly towards her. Both vulnerable but loyal to each other and connected in love between humans and animals.

Coste's work usually depicts humans and animals together in a stylized Art Deco style.

The work is signed and has the casting mark Susse Frères. In itself a sign of pure quality. Casting technique is the lost wax method; cire perdue in french.

It is a large and heavy statue: 67 cm long and weighing more than 11 kilos.
