Winged glass Facon de Venise, Germany, ca. 1600 pane base with pontil scar. Slender, spirally twisted shaft, heart-shaped in the upper part and decorated with waffle-like pinched thread supports (so-called wings). Bell-shaped cuppa. Restored/glued. 19.5 cm Lit.: Glass catalogue of the Museum of Arts and Crafts Frankfurt/Main, no. 193, a very similar, 16th/17th century dated winged glass with heart.
