This British film was the first of two films following the extremely popular television series of The Sweeney (1975-1978). It was directed by David Wickes and, as with the television series, it stars John Thaw as Detective Inspector Jack Regan and Dennis Waterman as Detective Sergeant George Carter. Both men get caught up in a deadly political scandal, taking on criminals, the Met Police and the British security services.

Excellent condition, colours remaining very bright, minor restoration to folds. The centre-fold is more visible through the yellow lettering.
