A hand-built pottery figurative fragment depicting a standing male with broad shoulders, a pair of striated embellishments adorning his clavicle, a finely incised beard draped from a thin mouth, a perky nose, discoid eyes, and a pointed cap with incised detailing. Researchers believe that the wide eyes of ancient Near Eastern figurative sculpture serve to emphasize one's attentiveness and religious devotion to the gods.
