A 12-BORE SIDE-LOCK EJECTOR Ser No 5322;
A hard rubber extension piece, chequered straight grip and fore-end. The mid rib engraved "T NEWTON, MANCHESTER", delicate engraving to breech. Treble grip action with automatic safety, SAFE inlaid in gold. The action highly and finely decorated with acanthus scrolling, bouquets, scrolling to edges and engraved "T NEWTON" to sides.
Weight 6lbs 11oz, Barrels 28", Chambers 2 3/4", Choke 1/4" 3/4", Pull 14 3/4" (including 3/4" EXT).

Significant dent to top of stock 1/2" long, scrape to heel 3/8" and numerous other dents. The chequering worn. The finish thinned towards the breech and patchy in places. The action showing little wear with finish intact on trigger and top lever.
