Georges Charles Coudray (French, 1862–1944), bronze sculpture with light and dark brown patina with gilt highlights titled Tahoser, circa 1895. Depicts an Egyptian lady playing harp, on a marble base. Inspired by the novel The Romance of a Mummy, a 1863 historical novel set in Ancient Egypt, which features the Biblical Exodus. The statue was exposed at the Paris Salon in 1892. Signed to the base, with a foundry mark.
