gilded full plate, verge escapement, plain three-arm steel balance, fusee and chain, dumb repeating, front dial white enamel, Roman numerals, Arabic outer minute ring, aperture for winding, diamond-set hands, back dial gilded with linear engine-turning, central chapter ring for days of the week with diamond-set indication hand, aperture for moon phases at 12 o'clock, year aperture at 2 o'clock, month with corresponding number of days at 4 o'clock, regulation index at 6 o'clock, aperture for date at 8 o'clock and manually set indication for leap year cycle at 9 o'clock, signed to the edge of the dial plate, gold case, calendar bezel engraved with symbols of science, hunting and love, the front bezel engraved with flowers and foliage, pulse piece at 8 o'clock, Paris discharge mark for Eloi Brichard (1756-1762) to the stem

Condition Report:
Case: Paris discharge mark for Eloi Brichard (1756-1762) to the one side of the stem and an early 19th century Viennese control mark. Otherwise clean, with little rubbing to the engraving.The diamonds are intact on the push buttons and hands.
Dial: no chips or visible cracks to the enamel side, some minor dirt to the metal side.
Movement: Not running or repeating when wound at the time of cataloging but balance is free.
