Val Telberg was a photomontagist, born of Finnish parents in Russia and raised in northern China. He is well-known for his work with Anaïs Nin, including the illustrations for her House of Incest. Collection of Barry Friedman; sold by Christie's October 12 1998, lot 66 ($2760); to Elaine Lustig Cohen (Ex Libris); to the present owner.
