TENOR - TS35A Tube radio
A sleek, French Art-Deco radio, quite rare and completely restored and converted into a device suitable for daily listening pleasure.
The cabinet with beautiful wood grain drawing was completely varnished, colored and protected with a clear high-gloss lacquer (maintenance-free) .
Bakelite frame for transmitter scale and buttons deeply cleaned and protected. The completely yellowed and matted cellophane of the transmitter shell was replaced by clear acrylic glass
Given the numerous defects in the original electronics and the increasingly limited range of long and medium wave transmitters, this device was converted and equipped with a sensitive FM tuner (87. 5-108MHz with small whip antenna) and a Bluetooth receiver.
This scheme of our own design results in a 4W class A amplifier with good sound reproduction.
During the conversion, as many original components as possible were retained, but all resistors, capacitors and semiconductors are new
Replace defective power tube E443N with new EL83. Replace defective rectifier tube 506 with silicon diodes and keep as dummy. The defective receiving tubes E446 and AB1 were left in the aircraft as a dummy
Connection for Phono/AUX via banana plugs and doubled with 3. 15mm jack
Output for external speaker (5-8 Ohm!) with banana plugs
Other tubes (preamplification + FM/Bluetooth adjustment) AF2-AK1 testing +90%
