In 1992 on request of Andrea Zagato an internal competition was started between the designers: this project was the one chosen as the starting point by the client of this special on Ferrari Testarossa basis. The subsequent arrival of Ercole Spada as director of the style center determined the evolution of the proposed design that remained faithful to the initial aeronautical inspiration.
