Description
Thai wall hanging/kalaga from Bangkok, from around the middle of the 20th century.
An elephant is shown with a female rider on it.
The work is padded and decorated with sewn-on velvet, silk, pearls, rhinestones, glass stones, cords, glass pens, sequins and metal threads.
The work was made by hand in the colors red, orange, yellow with details in green, purple and blue.
The wall hanging is attached to a handmade frame.
