In bronze with a double patina, brown and gold. Set on a rectangular pedestal with two stepped levels, decorated with Greek frets and foliage. The base rests on baluster feet and is festooned with a garland of laurel leaves. It is crowned by a circular finial flanked by two putti bearing coats of arms and surmounted by a trophy featuring doves. It supports the dial, which is white enamelled and signed ‘L. Musson’ in Paris. It displays the hours in Roman numerals and the five-minute intervals in Arabic numerals. Partly 18th-century, comprising later elements.Suspended by a wire. Height: 38 cm – Width: 34 cm – Depth: 12.5 cm. (wear to the patina, one detached element, restorations, sold as is).
