[THE EXORCIST]. [PERRI, Dan (b. 1945), designer]. Probable Unused Design for an Advance Ad for "The Exorcist." [Hollywood, CA, ca. 1973]. Black and white silver gelatin photographic image of Regan's bloody hand holding a crucifix, from one of the most notorious sequences from the film. 7 1/4 x 6". Mounted onto artist's board (10 x 15"). [And:] shaded acetate of the same image which fits exactly over the image. Taped onto orange paper. Acetate sight 4 x 5"; full acetate 7 x 8". Orange paper 11 x 10". It is unclear if this disturbing image was ever used for promotional purposes.

Mount and orange paper worn, soiled. Very good.
