THE SUN MFG. CO CASH REGISTER AND CIGAR TRADE STIMULATOR
C. 1896. An early wooden cash register that doubled as a trade stimulator made by the Sun. Mfg. Co. Made primarily for cigar stores, a customer would pay for a cigar and the clerk would open the cash register drawer, a gong would chime, and the clerk would give the customer a steel ball. There is little wear to the oak case, complete pin-field and the steel balls needed to play are included. It has as original celluloid Sun Mfg. tag on the back, and a tag on the front saying professionally restored by Frank Reynolds. It comes with keys.
