THIRD REICH M36 SS DAGGER.

Third Reich SS dagger with unmarked blade that exhibits visible areas of cross graining, light runner marks, and scattered blemishes. Nickel fittings exhibit nice amounts of their plated finish with light oxidation and blemishes. The black ebony grip has light wear and damage, with a few abrasions, small dents, and a small chip missing beneath the crossguard. Both eagle and SS roundel are original to the grip. The top pommel nut does not appear to have been removed and is very tight. The black anodized scabbard retains approximately some of its finish, with oxidation and fading throughout its length. The nickeled fittings retain 5 of their screws, with 1 screw missing on the throat. All fittings exhibit patina, with the heaviest wear exhibited on the drag. Accommodations for a chain are present, however the chain is missing. There is a loose piece that moves freely inside the scabbard body. CONDITION: Good.
