THIRTY THREE PIECE NINETEENTH CENTURY DAVENPORT CHINA PART TEA SERVICE, (4434), NOW SUITABLE FOR EIGHT PERSONS, painted in colours and gilt with stylised floral borders and comprising: EIGHT CUPS, ELEVEN SAUCERS, TWELVE SIDE PLATES, SLOPS/ SUGAR BOWL and a SANDWICH PLATE, printed marks, (33)
C/R- crack to the bottom of the slops bowl, cups- two don’t ring well but no visible faults and one with firing crack to handle, side plate- 5 with minor/ very minor rim chips, saucers- seven with minor/ very minor rim chips, and two of the four ‘good ones’ do not ring well but no visible faults, all pieces with light crazing, minor rubbing and very light surface scratching
