Condition Report:
Not examined out of the frame. Wax lined. At the left upper edge, the edge of the original canvas is visible and there is some flaking. Faint craquelure in the dogs. Scattered frame abrasion along left edge. Under UV: scattered inpainting to address prior craquelure in the foreground and on the wall at center left. There are two small, approximately 2 inch areas of inpainting above the trees at center left and a large upside down 'U' shaped repair approximately 3 inches wide extending from the left upper edge. There are a few isolated pin dots of retouching in the sky and some additional inpainting to address prior craquelure surrounding the right column and lion. Scattered inpainting along the upper left and right upper edges to address prior frame abrasion.
