Literature: Thomas Hartley Cromek: A Classical Vision, Harewood House Trust, 1999, with biographical essay by Suzanne Zack based on her unpublished catalogue raisonée The Life & Work of Thomas Hartley Cromek W. Burkinshaw was a friend of T.H. Cromek. and taught at Wakefield College of Art during the latter years of Cromek's life when he returned to Wakefield before his death in 1873.
