"Approaching Storm", oil on canvas, unsigned, titled on label verso, identifying artist and indicating this was part of the Collection of Harold Behrens, depicting a crowed coastal passage with a multitude of craft from a moored Man-o-War, a large Sidewheel Steamer, Fishing Rowboat and a Scow, all crowded with figures and scrambling for safety under a roiling sky and rising sea; in a later gold ribbed cove frame with linen liner, OS: 33 1/2" x 39", SS: 22" x 33 1/2". Cleaned and relined.
