THONET Model 9 Armchair, Pair
Circa 1950s-1960s. Historically significant chair by Thonet, with a similar example part of the permanent collection at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Each chair retains paper Thonet label to underside. Steam-bent beechwood, vinyl seating. Measures 31.5" H to back x 17.5" H to seat x 21.5" W x 22" D.
Condition
Very good condition for age. Structurally solid with some wear to bottom of legs. Presents well. See photos.
