THREE BLUE AND WHITE 'LADIES' DISHES, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The group is comprised of one dish decorated with two ladies in a fenced garden with an attendant, the reverse is decorated with mountains, and a similar pair of dishes each decorated with an elegant lady holding an osmanthus branch in a fenced garden surrounded by the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang. All three dishes bear apocryphal Chenghua marks to the bases.
