THREE FRENCH COMTOISE/MORBIER CLOCK MOVEMENTS AND DIALSOne signed for Faure, Privars and another for Henry Dognon, Saujon, mid to late 19th centuryIn various states of repair, each posted with trains set side-by-side and with either anchor or verge escapement for regulation by long pendulum, gravity rack-hour striking and circular white enamel Roman numeral dial within repousse brass surrounds, one signed Fauvre, a Privars and another H'y Dognon a Saujon, with two pendulums (one incomplete) and a pair of weights, (3).The largest frame 28cm (11ins) high, 28cm (11ins) wide, 15cm (6ins) deep.Condition Report: First movement is complete and in working condition, the dial has some chipping to the enamel and small splits/creases in the metal surround. The second is in similar condition except the side doors are missing, the dial however appears free form enamel chips to the dial and the metal surround is free from splits or significant creases. The mechanism of the third is basically intact bit the dial is presently detached and the hands are not present. The hands are missing, the motionwork is detached (and possibly incomplete) and the enamel has some slight chips. The metal surround also has some denting. There are two pendulums and one pair of weights with the lot (no winding keys). Condition Report Disclaimer
