Beykoz, Ottoman Turkey, late 19th - early 20th century
Comprising two long rectangular and faceted bottles, with flat square bases, with narrow shoulders and flared mouths, the bodies with gilt decorations consisting of star motifs, curved bands and floral stems, one bottle with ridged corners, gold-painted floral scrolls and delicate stems, both stoppers now missing, respectively 18.3cm high and 17.7cm high; and a similar scent bottle, much smaller in size, with gilt and engraved floral stems, 4.2cm high.
