THREE HEISEY GLASS CO. BOTTLES & A CREAMER & SUGAR

The ovoid fluted jars of varying size, each with caps, the Art Deco style sugar bowl and creamer of diamond shape, with diamond shaped handles, marked on the underside with an H in a diamond, circa 1950. Height of largest bottle 6 in. Height of creamer and sugar 4 in.CF. The Heisey Glass Company was founded by Major A.H. Heisey in 1895, in Newark, Ohio. The firm is best known for its perfectly pressed glassware, so precise it had the appearance of cut glass. [as are the items included in this lot, and in lots 292 and 293]. During the early 20th Century, the designer Arthur Sanford produced tableware for the firm in the shape and style of Colonial Glass. The Heisey Glass Company continued to produce fine tableware through 1958.
