Hebron region, Palestine, second half 20th century
Rectangular in shape, made of cotton and linen and decorated with dense tatreez (embroidery) featuring stylized vegetal and geometric motifs, including an interlocking diamond pattern, worked in fallahi (peasant) cross-stitch using bright orange, green, fuchsia, yellow, purple, blue, burgundy and pink silk threads.
