THREE SANCAI-GLAZED DISHES
Liao and Tang Dynasty
Comprising: two circular dishes, one carved with a stylised open lotus flowerhead to the well, on a splashed green ground within an amber glazed rim; one moulded with flower sprays and foliage, detailed in green and amber on a cream ground; and a foliate rimmed square dish with further moulded floral and foliate decoration.
The largest 24cm (9 1/2in) diam. (3).
