Second-quarter 20th Century. Two are American World War II war bonds posters. The smallest: A patriotic poster with an American flag promoting the sale of United States War Bonds with the headline “WE CAN... WE WILL... WE MUST !....Franklin D. Roosevelt”. Dated 1942, in excellent condition. 11.25"h. 20.5"w. The second: A circa 1960 German movie poster for "King Kong" with an illustration of King Kong towering over the Manhattan skyline, with a bright red background, planes shooting, and a blonde-haired woman clutched in one hand. 27.25”h. 18.75”w. The third (and largest): A United States Treasury poster promoting the sale of War Bonds with a portrait of a woman in front of a scene of destruction, with the headline “...and WE talk about sacrifice.
