Condition Report:
Overall in very good condition. The shade presents with scattered minor air bubbles, particulate inclusions, and surface irregularities inherent in the making and not visually detractive. The upper aperture with a few extremely minute fleabite flecks, consistent with age and gentle handling, and with a couple of minor traces of adhesive residue. The bronze candlestick with scattered minor surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and gentle handling. The back edge of the foot adjacent to the handle with a small area of abrasion measuring approximately 1 ½ inch wide. The bronze with some scattered areas of wax residue. The suspended cup with a small dent to the widest point, not visually detractive, and with some traces of surface soiling and minor oxidation concentrated to the recessed contours. The bobeche/shade fitter appears original and presents with some wax residue to the interior.
