Condition Report:
Overall in good condition. The enameled candle cup displays a vibrant pink hue with rich orange accents. The enamel with scattered wear and losses throughout concentrated to the high points of the design. The enamel displays a fine craquelure throughout and appears to have been stabilized with a clear varnish at some point in the history of the piece. The candlestick displays a bright and lustrous gilt patina, which presents with scattered minor surface scratches, light wear and minor discolorations consistent with age and gentle handling. The stem with some more concentrated wear and surface abrasions, dents, and traces of oxidation concentrated to the lower portion. The stem with some minor bending. The candle cup with some light wear and traces of candle wax to the interior.
