Condition Report:
Overall in very good condition. When viewed firsthand, the shade displays a beautiful selection of glass with a wide variety of green tones and highly saturated reds and pinks. The shade with approximately 17 cracks dispersed throughout, stable. The shade with some extremely minor traces of surface soiling concentrated to the contours adjacent to the leadlines, consistent with age. The upper ring with a few minor breaks in the leading, stable and not visually detractive. The shade with some subtle unevenness to the shade’s profile and bottom edge, not visually detractive. The shade with some evidence of sensitively undertaken releading, likely completed at the time of production. The base is in very good condition and displays with a rich brown patina. The bronze surfaces with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions, light wear, surface soiling and oxidation, consistent with age and gentle use. The bottom edge of the foot with some edge wear and minor dents, only visible upon close inspection. With period sockets. With a period finial in very good condition. An elegant and richly colored lamp.
